It had been a while since I had time to paint on canvas, so I was itching to get back to it, and with the Media Blackout show I was invited to, I thought this would be the perfect tribute piece to jump back in with. For this show we were told to create a new piece, and not post pictures until after the opening. Funny thing in today's world. So here's my piece, the day after the opening! Admidst all the recent talents gone in 2016, Sean Price was a huge bummer for me, gone way too soon like all the others. We all have our heroes, our inspirations, our favorites.
