Feeling honored and grateful for the homie Paul Kaiju painting up a run of my Aleister. They came out truly amazing! Clear base vinyl, hand painted by PK, includes 8 ball charm and leash to keep track of your demon doggy.
These beautiful barkers will drop online tomorrow, 8/24/2019 at 9:00 AM PST via PaulKaiju.com !
I'm so proud of how this little dude came out! This is my fourth painted release of Aleister in a new Devilman inspired colorway! Aleister is a little demonic doggy which includes a jingle bell charm and leash. Aleister was the first full figure I hand sculpted after many random heads and other weirdos. Aleister made his debut briefly in resin in 2017, and then came to life in sofubi in 2019!
Devilman Aleister is a limited micro run of just 20 pieces. Drops exclusively via lulubelltoys.com on Thursday, August 8th at 6pm Pacific Time (1:00am August 9th GMT). $50usd+ shipping. Check out the slideshow below where the homie Robert Howell/Manic Images captures my little dude so perfectly!

Includes metal gold chain & bell charm to keep dastardly doggy at bay. $50usd at Kaiju Con, sold at opening! (any unsold will go up for sale via lulubelltoys.com on Sunday, June 16th, time TBA).

Order & Chaos is the debut micro run release of Aleister in sofubi toy & it was so fun and unreal to have this dude in hand! Cast in blue & orange marbled vinyl with hand painted details and metal charm, this run is limited to 20 pieces! Find Aleister online on 5.1.2019 exclusively via lulubelltoys.com!
I'm stoked to announce that my little demon doggy will be coming to life in sofubi this year, thanks in huge part to Luke & Yuki (Lulubell Japan)! I sculpted this guy just as one of many practice runs making a thing while I was teaching myself how to sculpt (which is a funny story in itself that I'll have to share another time!) I have a sizable collection of sculpts now, but like most artists breaking into sofubi, I've been hesitant to choose one and make the leap! As fate would have it, Aleister has become the chosen one for my first sofubi, and I'm really grateful at the overwhelming support, comments and love I've received! To help fund this project's start up costs, I'm doing a open run pre-order for unpainted red vinyl (mock up above, color may differ slightly) at an amazing "thank you for helping me fund this price" of just $25 each! No order maximums, made to order. Available exclusively via lulubelltoys.com now through February 14th, 2019!
Making his debut at 5 Points this year is Aleister Growly. Aleister is the first in an upcoming cast of characters called Infected by Devils, inspired by the various ancient wisdom holders and seekers of the past. Hand sculpted, mold and resin cast and painted all by me, Aleister features inner magnets in the neck for articulated fun! Approx. 4" tall, two part resin. Leash one up at 5 Points Festval in NYC at the Lulubell Toys booth, #331! $40usd.
Photo wizardry thanks to Robert Howell/Manic Images.
I kept this cat in the bag until the install was complete, but I am so honored to have been selected at the Valley Metro ARTSLINE featured artist for 2018!!! This GIGANTIC mural is located at the Roosevelt & Central Avenue station in Phoenix and will be up for a year until it rotates to the next installment. It's been fun seeing people posting pictures on IG already! The official kickoff is during ART DETOUR PHX this year, and you can also see two more pieces inside the Light Rail cars this year, so be sure to look up when you ride! This was a huge undertaking, and consisted of many, many layers, and I am so happy with the end result! Most of the murals I've done recently are commissions with a real specific goal in mind, and for this project I was given the ultimate in creative freedom, so I really had fun trying out a bunch of different layers and elements to get to the finished design. I had a great time going all out and cramming a ton of fun elements into this one, and tried to honor both my roots in aerosol painting and my more recent canvas style. I really enjoy getting the overall composition realistic and then blowing out some of the elements in a loose or drippy way. Two of our family pets, Hanzo & Winston, joined the party, with Winston the pug entering a portal in one area and popping out in another! My wife was my photo reference for the yogi, and if you look close, you can find the Phoenix Lights & a few other fun hidden elements. Go check it out next time you ride the train & let me know what you find!
