I'm proud to reveal my next sofubi creation, The GOD, which will be my first full sized sofubi figure!
The GOD is an advanced being, constructed out of archetypes and knowledge from a long forgotten ancient civilization.
The GOD is the last remaining creature from a distant dimension, and in order to survive, he is challenged with repopulating a new civilization before all of the knowledge of the prior civilization is lost. The GOD has been keeping the knowledge, history and DNA from this lost civilization safe inside his staff, which he rattles to shake loose and create new creatures to improve upon and continue the evolution of his species.
The GOD examines archetypes and societal challenges. On the positive side, the GOD can be compassionate, conscious and willing to help others out of his overall love for his fellow beings. The shadow side of the GOD however can easily become a dictator or despot, oppressing others and using his power in a self serving manner.
Four faces reveal a different aspect of the GOD: The Charmer, The Trickster, the Miser & the Sage. Each release will focus on a certain architype, based on which face is forward. The GOD stands approximately 8"/20cm tall and is articulated in the neck, shoulders and legs, and will include a skull headed staff (not pictured).
The GOD will make his debut in early 2020! Support the start up costs of this project by pre-ordering the GOD now! Introductory pre-order price is $85usd, and this is the only time I will be selling these at this price, or in solid colors (for at least a while!)
