I can't tell you how much of an honor it is to get to paint a run of James Groman's Rotten Rexx for Lulubell Toys. When the figure was making it's initial debut, a blank head was released first, and a paint contest was held. The winner was to be picked by James himself on Instagram, and would get to paint a run based on their winning entry! I didn't even think I'd be considered, but I wanted to paint one anyway because it's just such an awesome figure. James is one of my artist-legend-heroes and to have had the extreme pleasure of meeting him a few times now, this release is special to me to say the least. It's always rad when you meet a hero and they not only meet, but exceed your expectations. That is James. So extremely talented in so many mediums, a true professional, and one of the most modest, down to earth artist's I've ever met. Super humble and hardworking dude. I could go on and on about Rexx and James Groman, but I'll stop short by saying I am truly grateful and honored to paint this run, and look forward to seeing where they end up! (sales details below)

Here's a fun custom Cure Toys Brain Bug Boogie Man I did this week that is off to CA! Super amazing figure to paint...I love the detail in the James Groman head and mask, and it lends itself really well to this homage. This was painted on flesh vinyl blank (maybe first release?) from a couple years back. Fun custom I did this week on the Popsoda Fog white vinyl blank. I am kicking myself for not getting more of these white blanks when they were available...I have so much fun painting these! Got a new fine line Iwata gun this week since my older one is almost completely shot, and wanted to see what it could do! UPDATE: Sold, off to his new home. Thank you!
